Pura Tuesday

The purpose of Pura Tuesday is to provide a platform to encourage and allow newcomers who are interested in creating original comics to publish their works.

All works must be original works.

Open Submissions Rules And Regulations

1) Unlike works submitted to our “Mentorship Programme” under PuraComixMag, works submitted under our Open Submissions category WILL NOT be vetted by our mentors and editorial team before being published on PuraComixMag website.

2) Works submitted in this category will be published online in the language they are originally submitted in. There will strictly be no translations for all open submissions.

3) All works in this category will be published online every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

4) All original comics submitted under this category must be completed short stories. Each comic MUST NOT exceed 24 pages.

5) The dimension of the work is to be in A4 (210 X 297mm), 300 dpi. Both color or black and white are accepted.

6) All works that do not fulfill the stipulated rules and regulations will be disqualified. Only short-listed works and artists will be notified.

**Pura Tuesday authors whose works show potential will have the opportunity to be selected by the editorial team to enter the “Mentorship Programme” under Pura ComixMag and will be guided by our comic instructor.

Works that are selected to be featured under PuraComixMag will be published in both Chinese and English.
